We have a bunch of the 500 Gig's and have been happy with them. But of course as time goes by, files just get bigger and bigger. We are able to keep our Lightroom library on this 1 Tb drive and run off of it, just like it was on our hard drive. That's a big deal for photographers who are working with 50 Gig images. Great product! BTW - it's USB 3.0. That's what gives it the big speed advantage.

Well design, high speed. It comes with it's nice carrying bag and place for cables. Just one con, firewire cable easy to detach, that's why, when you use it be careful it is in a stable place and nothing touches the cable accidently.

I like the sizes and the product, but one of the firewire connectors in the back is not working properly.
